Dickson County High School wrestlers earned five medals including a gold by Fletcher Valentine to finish tied for fourth in the Ooltewah Invitational Tournament this weekend. Wilson Central won the team title with 218.5 total points, while Bradley Central was second at 202.5 and Walker Valley was third at 171. The Cougars and Auburn of Alabama finished with 100 points each. Valentine got a win at 5:41 in the title match at 182 for the only Cougar gold. Adelaido Panteleon was pinned at 3:22 in the 106-pound championship to finish second while Luke Humphreys dropped a 4-1 decision in the finals at 160 pounds. Beau Badon got a 3-2 decision in the 136-pound consolation match and Shawn Vincent recorded a pin at 5:28 in the 198-pound class consolation match to finish third. The Cougars travel to Brentwood Academy Tuesday.
