An Adams, Tennessee, man pleaded guilty Friday to one count of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor and was placed on probation for two years. 47-year-old Gary Lynn Rockey was indicted in October on four counts of soliciting a minor for sex online following an investigation by the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children unit. The indictments allege Rockey solicited a minor for sex or displayed sexual material to a minor over the Internet on three occasions between May and September of last year. The fourth count charges Rockey made the same solicitation or display to an undercover officer posing as a minor child on the Internet. Rockey pled guilty Friday in Dickson County Circuit Court to the fourth count while the other three charges were dropped in a plea bargain agreement. Judge George Sexton sentenced Rockey to two years in prison suspended to probation and ordered him to undergo and follow the recommendations of an offender evaluation.
