All Dickson County schools to open 2 hours late Tuesday, including Charlotte

All Dickson County schools will open two hours late Tuesday, including schools in Charlotte, according to Director Dr. Danny Weeks. Charlotte Elementary, Charlotte Middle and New Directions Academy will reopen after being closed Monday due to a break in the Charlotte sewer system. After scattered flooding delayed the start of school Monday, a winter weather advisory has prompted a two-hour delay Tuesday to ensure roads are safe. There are some reports tonight of ice on bridges and overpasses, but most roads are reported to be clear. The forecast stll includes a slight chance of snow overnight and early Tuesday morning.
