A 17-2 run in the second quarter gave the Dickson Middle School Lady Dragons all they needed to collect a 54-16 win over Northeast in Clarksville Monday night. Emily Beard scored 32 points in less than three quarters of action as Dickson remains unbeaten through nine games. The Dragons fell behind the Eagles early but battled back to tie the game at halftime and keep it close before Northeast managed to pull away for a 44-37 win. Trey Wiedmann led Dickson with 19 points as the Dragons fall to 3-6. Dickson travels to Montgomery Central on Thursday. Charlotte Middle School got a split at Harpeth Monday as the Lady Tigers won 30-23 but the Indians came away with a 49-42 win in the boys’ game. Charlotte hosts Fairview and William James hosts Waverly on Thursday.
