Camden ends Creek Wood’s season 42-14, Red Hawks finish 2-8

Creek Wood High School ended its season at 2-8 with a 42-14 loss to Camden Friday night. The Lions, who finished second in District 11-AA, had two backs to rush for over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns each as they pulled away in the second half. The Red Hawks led briefly 7-6 in the first half after Justin Tummins scored on a 12-yard run and Ian Spence booted the extra point. Kyle Klotz got Creek Wood’s final score on a three-yard run. At 2-4 in the district, Creek Wood did not earn a berth in the postseason. Undefeated Cheatham County claimed the District 11-AA title and will host Grundy County in the playoffs Friday. Camden hosts Jackson Central-Merry.
