Charlotte falls to Fairview in MTAC consolation game

Just a week after getting a victory over Fairvew to end the regular season, the Charlotte Middle School Tigers wrapped up their season with a 53-6 loss to the same squad in the conference consolation game. Coach Tommy Shelton’s Tigers had squeezed out a 14-8 win over Fairview Oct. 4 to finish the regular season 3-5 and earn a spot in the Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference playoffs. After falling to Waverly 38-0 last week, the Tigers moved into Saturday’s consolation game at William James Middle School where they fell to Fairview and end their season 3-7.
