Cougars and Red Hawks battle for spot in region championship games tonight

Tonight Dickson County’s Cougars and Creek Wood’s Red Hawks battle for a spot in the region championships and a trip to the state sectionals. The Cougars face District 10 rival Henry County at 6 pm in the Region 5-AAA semifinals at Beech. The Red Hawks take on District 12 champion Spring Hill at 7:30 in the Region 6-AA semifinals at Creek Wood. Both games will be live on WDKN, The One FM, wdkn.com and rfcsports.com. A win tonight means teams will play for the region title Thursday night and secure a spot in the state sectionals to be played Monday. A loss tonight ends the season.
