Dickson County and Ravenwood square off tonight in a big District 11-AAA football game in Brentwood. The game is being played on Thursday night due to fall break in the Williamson County school system. The Raptors are currently tied for first place in the district at 2-0 with Franklin. The Rebels are undefeated through six games overall while Ravenwood is 5-1, suffering a 34-33 non-district loss to Overton two weeks ago. The Raptors are averaging 38.7 points per game while allowing 19.3. Held out of the end zone twice, the Cougars are scoring 17.8 per game while giving up 24.1. The Raptors got district wins over Independence and Centennial while the Cougars beat Summit last week for their only win of the season. Game time at Ravenwood tonight is 7 pm. Coverage on all channels of the RFC Sports Network begins at 6 pm. Tomorrow Creek Wood returns to action after its bye week to host Montgomery Central.
