Creek Wood hosts jamboree in final tuneups; DCHS 2nd game moved to Thursday

The final tuneups before the high school football season opens will be at the Creek Wood High School Jamboree tonight. Harpeth and Clarksville Academy will kick things off at 6:30, followed by Dickson County’s Cougars facing East Hickman and then the host Red Hawks will battle Fairview. The regular season begins next week with the Week Zero showdown between Dickson County and Creek Wood at DCHS. The Cougars have won the first three meetings between the intra-county rivals. Dickson County High School announced this week that its Week One game at Columbia Central will be televised and has been moved to Thursday, Aug. 23, with a 7:00 kickoff.
