After scoring six points in his college debut, Dickson County High School graduate JeQuan Lewis and the 14th-ranked Virginia Commonwealth University Rams get an early top-25 challenge tonight against Virginia on national television. Lewis sank both his field goal attempts and two of three free throws during 13 minutes of playing time in VCU’s 96-58 season-opening rout of Illinois State on Friday. Lewis had two assists and one steal but committed four turnovers and four fouls in his debut. The Rams take their havoc style of play to Charlottesville tonight as VCU and the Cavaliers face off for the first time since 1998. Tip off is 6 pm with the game featured on ESPN2. VCU hosts Winthrop on Saturday.
