A few general admission tickets and a couple of tables remain available for Tuesday night’s Relay for Life fund-raising concert featuring new country singer Greg Bates. The Sold on a Cure Relay for Life Team presents Bates and others in concert at 7 pm Tuesday at Events on Main at 105 South Main St. in Dickson. The Sold on a Cure Team is a coalition of local real estate offices including Crye-Leike Realtors, ERA Real Estate Professionals and Parker Peery Properties and is raising funds for the 11th annual Relay for Life to be held June 7 in Dickson County Stadium. Bates burst onto the country music scene last year when his debut single Did It for the Girl cracked the top 15 on the charts. His follow-up single Fill in the Blank is currently climbing the charts. An artist signed with Republic Nashville, Bates is a Williamson County native who graduated from Ravenwood High School and earned a degree in Music Business from Belmont University. Joining Bates for Tuesday night’s concert are Don Poythress, co-writer of Easton Corbin’s hit A Little More Country Than That, Laura Veltz, whose songs have been recorded by Jana Kramer, Eli Young Band, Edens Edge and others, and Courtney Cole, a new artist on the Big Machine label. General admission tickets are $15 while only a couple of tables remain available. To purchase tickets, call 519-9179.
