Tonight marks the end of the 2013 Jammin in June Concert Series in Holland Park. Music enthusiasts and band fans have enjoyed artists like, Jonathan Wells, Lizzie Sider, The Band Angelica and Ty Barham in past weeks. This week music lovers can hear the sounds of Templeton Thompson, Rhet Sims and Rod Richmond. Music Row magazine’s Robert K. touts Templeton as, “A vulnerable, yet believable voice that needs to be heard on the radio. Templeton is one of the TRUE undiscovered talents.” She is an artist whose songs are on country superstars’ cds like, Reba McEntire, Jo Dee Messina and Little Texas. She has performed on stage for audiences across the country, in Europe in Japan and now she comes home to Dickson in Holland Park kicking off tonight’s final Jammin in June Concert. Thompson’s video for her newest single, “When I Get That Pony Ride”, premiered on CMT.com and climbed to #1 in its first week. Templeton will also be Freeman’s guest in the studio at 4:30 this evening. Tonight’s event is a free and everyone is invited to come out to Holland Park. Jammin in June is a joint concert series sponsored by the Dickson Parks and Recreation Department and WDKN and The One FM.
