Former jailer Darick Wall gets probation for sexual contact with female inmates

A former Dickson County correction officer was recently placed on probation for having sexual contact with an inmate. 35-year-old Darick Scott Wall of Vanleer pleaded no contest last month to one count of felony sexual contact with an inmate and was sentenced to two years in prison. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation and ordered not to have any contact with the victims. Five other charges were dismissed. Wall was indicted in February on three counts of sexual contact with inmates and three counts of sexual battery without consent between September and November 2011. Following an internal investigation, he was fired by the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office in December for violating policy regarding interaction with female inmates.
