Friday is deadline to order homemade cakes for Easter from FCE club members

Tomorrow is the deadline to order a homemade cake for Easter from the Dickson County Family and Community Education Clubs. FCE members are selling homemade cakes to raise funds for the annual scholarship program. Available cakes are coconut, strawberry, German chocolate, pound cake and lemon pound cake. The cakes will be available to be picked up 9 am-noon Saturday, March 30, at Dickson First United Methodist Church’s drive-through portico, First Federal Bank on the Courthouse Square in Charlotte or Chappell’s Hometown Foods in White Bluff. Other bake sale items such as cupcakes, cookies and more will be available at the pickup sites. Orders can be placed by contacting any FCE club member or by calling the UT Extension at 446-2788. The last day to order a cake is Friday.
