Vanleer Alderman Westley A. Albright is one of three men indicted last week for soliciting sex from a minor over the Internet. The Dickson County Grand Jury indicted the 40-year-old Albright on one count of solicitation of a minor and one count of solicitation of a minor for sexual exploitation. The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit arrested Albright Feb. 28 after he allegedly solicited sex from an undercover officer posing as an elementary school-aged child over the Internet. Albright, who was re-elected to a two-year term on the Vanleer Board of Aldermen in November, was arrested when he allegedly showed up for an arranged meeting in Charlotte to have sex. Albright has continued to serve on the board of aldermen since his arrest and is scheduled to appear in Dickson County Circuit Court for arraignment May 13. Also indicted last week on solicitation charges are 46-year-old Donald Blackwell of Murfreesboro who was arrested Jan. 22 and Sgt. Anthony B. Sims II of Clarksville who was arrested Feb. 6. They also are to be arraigned May 13.
