Dickson County’s wrestling team finished seventh in this weekend’s 44th annual Father Ryan Invitational with Luke Humphreys taking the only championship for the Cougars. Humphreys won the title in the 160-pound division with a 6-3 decision over Franklin’s Patrick Dooley in the title round. With five championships, Father Ryan easily topped the 28-team field in the state’s oldest wrestling tournament. Ryan finished with 232 points, well ahead of Brentwood Academy at 134.5 and Montgomery Bell Academy at 113. Dickson County finished seventh with 93.5 points. The Cougars travel to Beech Tuesday to face the Buccaneers, Harpeth and Montgomery Central. Creek Wood wrestling travels to Springfield Tuesday.
