Creek Wood quarterback Ian Spence threw for five touchdowns and ran for another as the Red Hawks pounded Stewart County 39-25 in Dover Friday night. Spence passed for 234 yards while Justin Tummins rushed for 139 as Creek Wood won its second in a row to even its record at 3-3 overall and 2-2 in District 11-AA. Spence threw two touchdown passes to Ashton Ferguson, including one for 68 yards, and connected with Sam Tummons on a 69-yard score. His two scoring passes in the second quarter sandwiched a four-yard touchdown run by the quarterback to give the Red Hawks a 25-12 lead at intermission. Mathis Duncan intercepted a Rebel pass late in the fourth period to ice the 14-point win. Creek Wood heads into its bye week before returning to action Oct. 11 hosting Montgomery Central.
