Country rocker Jason Charles Miller has opened for country superstars like Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Eric Church, Justin Moore, Jerrod Niemann, Gary Allen and others. He has been frontman for the band Godhead and collaborated with artists as diverse as Marilyn Manson and Paul Anka. The Virginia native will play Friday at Holland Park in downtown Dickson in the next installment of the Jammin’ in June concert series presented by the Dickson Parks and Recreation Department, WDKN and The One FM. Miller’s latest album, “Natural Born Killer,” is his second full-length solo effort from Render Records. His current single “The Way You Still Want Me” features a rocking video tribute to Robert Palmer’s 1986 smash “Addicted to Love” with a backup band of similar looking blondes with expressionless faces wearing identical cutoff shorts and flannel shirt outfits. Splitting his time between Los Angeles and Nashville, Miller is an accomplished performer, songwriter, musician and actor. His songs have been featured on the HBO series “True Blood” and “Hung,” as well as “WWE Friday Night Smackdown” and the popular web series “The Guild.” He has done voice work for more than 50 animated productions and video games, appeared in eight movies and in the Syfy channel’s original movie “Battle Planet.” His Screaming Robot//Eagle/Bear Across America tour includes a stop at Douglas Corner Cafe in Nashville Friday night and Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill in Cincinnati on Saturday. Miller plays Jammin’ in June Friday along with Tyler Barham and Lizzie Sider. The concert series features free performances in Holland Park starting at 6 pm each Friday in June. This week host Dale Turner from WDKN and The One FM also will give away free tickets to Holiday World at Friday night’s concert.
