Singer-songwriter Jordan Anderson brings her new music to the Holland Park stage Friday night in the next installment of the Jammin’ in June concert series, presented by the Dickson Parks and Recreation Department, WDKN and The One FM. Growing up on a family farm in Colorado, Anderson knew at an early age that country music would be her passion. She says she began performing at age three and developed a love for the country music that surrounded her. After her family moved to Florida, Anderson became involved in performing in theater and choir at church and school, eventually landing a spot in the cast-choir at Disney World. She learned to play piano and guitar and used both instruments as she began to develop her song-writing skills. For her debut album, “Key to My Heart,” Anderson worked with Grammy-nominated producer Kent Wells, who has worked on Dolly Parton’s recordings. Anderson has collaborated with several Nashville songwriters with top 10 hits and wrote or co-wrote all 13 tracks on her album. Jordan Anderson performs Friday at Jammin’ in June along with Band Angelica and Chloe Goss. The free concert series starts at 6 pm each Friday in June and host Dale Turner of WDKN and The One FM will be giving away tickets to Holiday World at Friday night’s performance.
