Dickson County High School’s Lady Cougars improved to 6-0 with back-to-back wins over Clarksville and Harpeth. The Lady Cougars crushed Clarksville 68-37 Friday night and followed that with a 66-31 trouncing of Harpeth Saturday as Lea Lea Carter scored 19 points. The Cougars won their eighth straight by pounding Harpeth 75-44 with JeQuan Lewis scoring 37 points. Lewis had 28 in Friday’s 69-42 win at Clarksville. Creek Wood’s Lady Red Hawks ran their unbeaten streak to eight games by beating Stewart County 50-40 Friday night as Rachel Bell scored 18 points and Lamarra Gordon added 16. The Red Hawks collected a 69-31 win over the Rebels as Michael Morgan tallied 15 and Ross Plunkett scored 12. Dickson County hosts Rossview Tuesday at 6 pm and Creek Wood hosts Camden at 6:30. Tonight, Dickson Middle School visits Rossview with action at 6:00 on the RFC Sports Network. William James Middle School hosts East Hickman.
