Lady Cougars roll over Henry County to advance to District 10 volleyball semifinals

Dickson County High School’s Lady Cougars rolled into the District 10-AAA volleyball tournament semifinals by crushing Henry County Thursday night. The second-seeded Lady Cougars won in three sets, 25-4, 25-7 and 25-8, to move into the semifinals to be held Saturday at Rossview. The top-seeded Lady Eagles earned the right to host the championship by beating Kenwood, which had survived a play-in game with Northwest. The District 10 semifinals begin at Rossview at 9 am Saturday with the championship game scheduled for noon.
