Lady Cougars seeking share of first place in district against Rossview

Battles for district supremacy highlight this week’s action on the basketball courts. Tonight, Dickson County visits Rossview and Creek Wood travels to Cheatham County. The Lady Hawks are unbeaten in district action while the 11-1 Lady Cougars are looking for revenge and a share of the district lead as the regular season ends next week. Both Creek Wood squads handed Cheatham County their first district losses in a Jan. 8 battle in Charlotte. The Red Hawks rallied from 15 points down for a 56-53 win in the first meeting. The Lady Red Hawks remain undefeated in District 11-AA competition. Dickson County takes on Rossview at 6:00 tonight while Creek Wood and Cheatham County tip off at 6:30. Both doubleheaders can be heard on the RFC Sports Network. Creek Wood’s games at Fairview Thursday have been canceled. On Friday, Dickson County hosts Kenwood in a battle for first place for the Cougars, while Creek Wood hosts Montgomery Central.
