Lady Dragons saddle New Providence with 35-point loss, improve to 17-1

After seeing their 36-game winning streak snapped in a holiday tournament, Dickson Middle School’s Lady Dragons started off the new year with a 52-17 thrashing of New Providence Tuesday night to improve to 17-1. But the Mustangs picked up their second win of the season over the Dragons with a 38-31 decision at Melton Self Gym, dropping Dickson to 6-9. DMS travels to West Creek Thursday. Charlotte Middle’s Tigers collected a 39-31 win at Cheatham County Tuesday while the Lady Tigers fell 21-13. William James Middle gets a visit from Cheatham County Thursday.
