Creek Wood games tonight at Nashville Christian rescheduled for Dec. 28

Rachel Bell scored 19 points and Lamarra Gordon added 14 as Creek Wood’s Lady Red Hawks stopped East Literature Magnet School 57-26 in the basketball season’s home opener Friday night. Creek Wood improved to 2-0. However, the Red Hawks dropped their first decision of the new season 55-50 to East. Tonight’s basketball games between Creek Wood and Nashville Christian School have been postponed because the Eagles football team is still alive in the Class 1A football playoffs. NCS asked that the games be rescheduled to Friday, Dec. 28. Dickson Middle Schools hosts Richview at 6 pm tonight with pregame coverage on WDKN, The One FM, wdkn.com and rfcsports.com starting at 5:45. Also tonight, Charlotte Middle School is at William James in a rivalry rematch at 6:00.
