A run in the top of the seventh and final inning broke a tie and gave Clarksville a 4-3 baseball win over Dickson County’s Cougars Tuesday. The Wildcats out-hit Dickson County 11-8 and got help from two doubles and a triple. Dickson County drops to 3-4 overall and 1-1 in District 10. The Cougars head to Chapel Hill for a tournament starting Thursday. Dickson County’s soccer Cougars picked up their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Harpeth Tuesday. Creek Wood baseball was swept by Waverly in a doubleheader, losing the first game 3-0 and the nightcap 4-3. The Lady Cougar softball team is scheduled to make up a rained out game against Rossview this afternoon. Dickson County hosts the Lady Hawks at 5:30, with pregame coverage on the RFC Sports Network starting at 5:15. It is the District 10 opener for the 6-3 Lady Cougars.
