A memorial service for the Dickson man killed on Interstate 40 Sunday night will be held Saturday. 35-year-old Matt Bledsoe died when he ran into the eastbound lanes of I-40 under the Highway 46 bridge late Sunday night and was hit by two tractor trailers. A 1995 graduate of Dickson County High School, Bledsoe was a pharmacist with the Dickson Walgreens store. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm Saturday at Taylor Funeral Home. Bledsoe is survived by his wife and four children, parents and grandparents, a brother and a sister. The family asks that memorials be made to the Vanleer Elementary or Dickson County High School libraries. A Tennessee Highway Patrol investigation into the accident continues and the preliminary report provides no explanation of why Bledsoe ran into traffic.
