More area businesses are signing up for Thursday’s job fair at the Tennessee Career Center at Dickson. Dickson County Chamber of Commerce President David Hamilton said Monday that the list of participating businesses and agencies is up to 18 for the event co-sponsored by Workforce Essentials and the chamber. The fair will be noon-5 pm Thursday at the career center at 250 Beasley Drive. Veterans employment representative Peter Toth has said the fair will include a number of businesses looking to fill positions immediately. Participating businesses include Middle Tennessee Lumber Company, Nemak USA, Tennsco Corp., Martin-Brower Company, Shiloh Industries, Natchez Trace Youth Academy, Developmental Services of Dickson County, Aid and Assist at Home, Dickson Senior Citizens Center and local staffing companies such as Staff Partners and Manpower, which provide temporary and full-time workers for a number of local companies.
