Cook of Burns was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning on Rutherford Boulevard. 22-year-old Jamarist Joel Kelley of Dickson was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A blood sample was taken from Holmes and sent to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab for analysis. No charges have been filed at this time. No funeral arrangements for Cook have been announced.
