The Gaslight Dinner Theatre production of This Wonderful Life opens today at The Renaissance Center. The production is adapted from the iconic holiday movie It’s a Wonderful Life and features one actor playing all the roles. Theatre Arts Director Pacer Harp returns to the stage to bring to life all the familiar characters of the holiday classic. Harp plays everyone from George Bailey and his wife Mary, to Clarence the angel and mean miser Mr. Potter in the inspirational story of how one man’s life can make a difference. Frank Capra directed the 1946 movie that starred Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. Harp has been a part of The Renaissance Center’s Theater Department since it opened in 1999. The Kentucky native has appeared in or directed more than 50 productions for the dinner theatre, community theatre or Mind Enriching Theatre series. This Wonderful Life is presented in noon matinees Tuesdays and Thursdays and evening performances Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 15.
