Dickson police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a weekend burglary of an area restaurant. Police have released a surveillance video image that shows a man wearing a hooded jacket with a camouflage covering over the bottom half of his face inside the Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant around 3:13 am Saturday. Police said the man is suspected in stealing four flat screen televisions, about $2,000 in cash and approximately $300 in alcohol from the restaurant on Beasley Drive across from Wal-Mart. Police said he also is wanted for questioning in connection with several other burglaries. The owner of the Open Hand coffee shop on Highway 46 in Pomona reports his business also was hit Friday night or Saturday morning. The surveillance camera images of the suspect can be viewed on the Dickson Police Department’s Facebook page or on wdkn.com. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Det. Jimmy Lyell at 441-9582 or Dickson Central Communications at 446-8041 extension 4.
