Renaissance Center hosting holiday party for foster families on Saturday

The Renaissance Center hopes to make the holidays a little brighter for 46 area families with a Foster Family Holiday Party on Saturday. The center is joining with the Foster Parents Association of Dickson, Humphreys and Houston Counties to present a day of holiday activities 1-9 pm Saturday. Participating foster families will enjoy a holiday show in the CyberSphere Digital Theatre, a Christmas art workshop, live musical performance, Christmas karaoke, a live production of Velveteen Rabbit, a traditional holiday dinner, Christmas gifts and the Renaissance Players production of A Christmas Carol: The Musical. All 46 families also will go home with a Christmas food box and holiday stocking. The Foster Family Holiday Party is sponsored by The Jackson Foundation, Dickson Pediatric Dentistry, Plaza Arts, Jerry’s Artarama, St. James Church, the Knights of Columbus and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
