SCV Chapter, Auxiliary hosting Victorian Christmas Ball Saturday at St. Paul Church

The Capt. W.H. McCauley Sons of Confederate Veterans Chapter 260 and Sallie Sizemore Ladies Auxiliary are hosting the St. Paul’s Victorian Christmas Ball on Saturday at the St. Paul Church in Charlotte. The social begins at 5 pm with the grand march at 6:30. Participants will enjoy a trip back to the 1860s with a night of fun, fellowship and Civil War-era dances. Appetizers and refreshments will be served. Musical entertainment will include Mean Mary and Frank along with dance callers. Those attending are invited to wear 1860s formal ensembles or modest modern attire. Advance tickets are $20 and at the door will be $25. All proceeds will benefit the chapter’s continuing restoration of the historic St. Paul Church at 1400 St. Paul Road.
