Sheriff’s office continues to get reports of home burglaries across the county

The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office says home burglaries continue to be a problem across the county. Investigators said thieves continue to target homes during daylight hours when nobody is at home and are stealing electronics, guns and other items that can be sold for quick cash. At this point they have no description of vehicles or suspects and do not know how many, if any, of the burglaries are connected. Six burglaries were reported to the sheriff’s office in three days last week. Two burglaries were reported in the 1300 block of Cowan Road on Wednesday. Burglaries were reported Thursday in the 1800 block of West Grab Creek Road and 1000 block of Harris Hollow Road. Friday saw burglaries reported in the 2700 block of Garner’s Creek Road and 1700 block of North Soules Chapel Road. Investigators ask anyone with information on any of these burglaries to call the Criminal Investigations Division at 789-9303. Police say anyone spotting suspicious vehicles or persons in their neighborhoods should call central communications at 446-8041 extension 4.
