Shopping safety is focus of Tuesday’s Coffee with a Cop at Senior Citizens Center

With holidays right around the corner, the next Coffee with a Cop at the Dickson Senior Citizens Center will focus on shopping safety. Dickson Police Department Crime Prevention Officer David Cole and Assistant District Attorney Ray Crouch will present the next monthly program at 9:15 am Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the center on West Walnut Street. The monthly programs are designed to provide tips and helpful information designed specifically for the safety, health and protection of senior citizens. The programs are free and include refreshments. Cole and Crouch will address shopping safety issues such as protecting yourself while shopping, protecting your purchases from thieves and the importance of protecting personal information from identity theft. For more information on next week’s Coffee with a Cop, call the Dickson Senior Citizens Center at 446-9350.
