Springfield ends Lady Cougars’ soccer season with 1-0 win in district play-in game

Dickson County High School’s Lady Cougars saw their soccer season come to an end Thursday night with a 1-0 loss to Springfield in the District 10-AAA Tournament’s play-in round. Dickson County stayed aggressive on offense all night, attacking the Lady Yellow Jacket goal with multiple shots, but was unable to get one into the net. Springfield’s Lacey Holt won a battle in front of the Dickson County goal to score the game’s only point. The Lady Yellow Jackets advance to Monday’s tournament at Clarksville High School.
