The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says it has a “person of interest” in its investigation into the Thursday morning death of a child in Dickson. Public Information Officer Kristin Helm said the TBI was requested by District Attorney Dan Alsobrooks to investigate the death of a one-year-old girl “who was dropped off by a male” at a duplex on Brookside Drive in Dickson. Helm said agents determined the residence belongs to a relative of the baby. “We have a person of interest at this time and are determining the relationship of that individual to the baby,” Helm said in an email. She said she expects more information to be released this afternoon. Dickson Police Department Chief Rick Chandler and Criminal Investigations Division Commander Eddie Breeden have not returned calls for information.
