Three people from Hickman County have been charged in connection with a shooting last week that left a Dickson man in critical condition. A statement from the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office says the victim, whose name was not released, drove himself to Horizon Medical Center with a gunshot wound shortly after 1 am Nov. 19 and police were notified. The statement says the victim was “only able to provide limited information at that time,” but deputies were able to determine he lived on Eno Road and after going to his residence discovered evidence of a “confrontation” and called in investigators. The victim was taken to a Nashville hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition. No other information on the extent of his injuries was released. Detectives arrested two people the following day and a third suspect on Monday. 24-year-old David Ray Roden of Maple Street in Lyles is charged with especially aggravated burglary and especially aggravated robbery. His case was bound over to the grand jury Friday and he was being held in the Dickson County Jail on $50,000 bond. 32-year-old Amanda Gwen Griffin of the same Maple Street address in Lyles is charged with facilitation of especially aggravated burglary, facilitation of especially aggravated robbery and a probation violation. She is being held in the Dickson County Jail on $40,000 bond with an appearance in Dickson County General Sessions Court scheduled for Dec. 6. 31-year-old James H. Hornburger of Wrigley Road in Centerville is charged with especially aggravated burglary and especially aggravated robbery. He is being held in the Dickson County Jail on $100,000 bond with an appearance in general sessions court set for Dec. 6. At this time, none of the three have been charged with the shooting. The report says the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible. Detectives are not releasing any information regarding the circumstances of the shooting.
