Thursday is deadline for property taxes to avoid paying penalties and interest

Thursday is the final day to pay city and county property taxes before penalties and interest will be added. The Dickson County Trustee’s office will be accepting payments at the Courthouse Annex in Charlotte and satellite offices on Main Street in downtown Dickson and in White Bluff Town Hall. City property taxes can be paid at city and town halls in Dickson, White Bluff, Burns, Charlotte and Vanleer. All property taxes not paid by the close of business Feb. 28 will have penalties and interest assessed starting March 1. The Trustee’s office is open 8 am-4 pm in Charlotte and Dickson and 8 am-4:30 pm in White Bluff. For more information on county property taxes, contact the Trustee’s office at 789-7003 or your local town hall.
