Today is last day to vote early, polls open 8 am-4 pm in Charlotte only

Today is the final day to vote early for next week’s election. Polls are open 8 am-4 pm today at the Dickson County Election Commission office in Charlotte only. Early voting at the Restoration Church ended yesterday and with extended hours offered again at both sites 1,217 ballots were cast, the second-highest daily total of the two-week early voting period. Last week saw 1,220 votes on Wednesday while 1,183 votes were cast on the first day of early voting Oct. 17. Through the end of voting Wednesday, 8,243 early votes have been cast in Dickson County, well more than the total early and election day turnout for the August primary and general election. There are just under 31,000 registered voters in Dickson County. Polls will be open 7 am-7 pm Tuesday across the county and WDKN and The One FM will have live election returns starting at 7:00.
