Weather forecast causes basketball games to be rescheduled

Last night’s winter weather prediction forced the cancellation of all games and some are being rescheduled. The North Area Middle School Tournament at Harpeth has been rescheduled for tonight with the Charlotte Middle Tigers scheduled to face Cheatham County. The Area 1 Class A Middle School Tournament boys’ championship game between William James and McEwen has been reset for Thursday in White Bluff. Dickson Middle School’s final regular-season home game against Northeast has been moved to Jan. 22. Dickson County High School’s scheduled doubleheader at Waverly will now be played at 6 pm Saturday, Feb. 2. Creek Wood’s games against Kenwood were canceled and no new date has been announced. Since it is not a district game, it might not be rescheduled. Dickson Middle travels to Montgomery Central Thursday. Dickson County hosts Henry County and Harpeth visits Creek Wood Friday before traveling to Sycamore on Saturday.
