The White Bluff Beer Board unanimously approved the annual renewal of all the town’s on- and off-premise beer permits Tuesday night. The town’s beer permits are issued on a calendar-year basis and holders face renewal each December. Police Chief Mike Holman reported there had not been any problems in terms of violations by the permit holders with the exception of Luckey’s Market, which was cited during a countywide law enforcement sweep targeting underage sales. The market was one of 26 Dickson County businesses caught in a February sweep and was assessed a civil penalty by the Beer Board in April. The board unanimously approved off-premise permit renewals for Dollar Store, Fast Stop Market, Luckey’s Market, Stevrita’s Market, White Bluff Grocery and White Bluff Shell, and on-premise permit renewals for El Monte Mexican Restaurant and Rowdy’s Roost. The board also re-elected Chairman Todd Hamilton, who was also re-appointed as vice mayor in Tuesday’s council meeting.
