White Bluff seeking input in online survey to formulate strategic growth plan

The town of White Bluff is again asking citizens to provide input for planning the town’s future through an online survey. Mayor Linda Hayes has said she plans to convene a new strategic planning committee that will map out a five-year plan for growth and services as well as ideas for increasing revenue for the town. That 10-15-member committee will meet for the first time at 7 pm Monday, Dec. 3. Projects Administrator Jeff Martin said the town is soliciting input through an online survey on the town’s Facebook page and available soon on its website, townofwhitebluff.com. “We’d like to encourage every household, every property owner, every business owner to participate in that survey,” Martin said. The deadline to submit responses is midnight Nov. 28, which gives officials time to review and summarize the responses before the committee meeting. Martin said the information primarily will be used in forming the strategic plan but also is helpful in grant applications and a variety of other uses. For more information on the survey, contact Martin at town hall at 797-3131.
