A shooting in White Bluff leaves one man in critical condition. 

Dickson County Deputies responded to a shooting on Monday, May 13 after midnight in front of  1183 Petty Road, home to a small boat dealer business known as C&O Marine in White Bluff, Tennessee.

The shooting left Terry Mallory, 35, of White Bluff with multiple gunshot wounds. Mallory was life-flighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center and as of 2:15 p.m on May 21, he remains in critical but stable condition. 

The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office has identified 30-year-old, Billy Wayne Thomas of White Bluff as the suspect in the shooting. 

Thomas turned himself in on Monday, May 20th, and has a bond of $255,000. 

Thomas has been charged with Criminal Attempt (2nd Degree Murder), 6 counts of Aggravated Assault, 6 counts of Reckless Endangerment, and Criminal Trespass. He has been scheduled for an initial court appearance on June 18, 2024. 

The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office has released no further details about the suspect or victim as the investigation continues.
